"ROCKLAND"

Er et af Montreal´s utallige shoppingcentre. For her shopper man altså igennem.

Sådan virker det i hvert fald i forhold til hvad jeg er vant til. Men der bor jo også omkring 3 millioner mennesker her, så vareudvalget er unægtelig også noget større.

Større displays,

mere fantasifulde displays,

Flere seje sko, her fra D&G.

Titlen siger vist alt, understreget af en Bh-juledekoration.

AMAZING GRACE

Of course it´s the singer/performer Grace Jones, I am referring to. Not the song amazing Grace. I was just associating with Amazing Lace, an articel by Suzy Menkes about one of the trends right now.

But do you remember Grace Jones from the 80´ies ?
I was a big fan and still listens to her songs from time to time. They still hold up to this day I think. Apart from that, I was very inspired by her looks and attitude.

Grace Jones was born in 1948 on Jamaica, but moved to Syracuse, New York with her family in 1965. She is a model, sanger and actress as well. She was discovered by and in a relation with the stylist, Jean-Paul Goude in  a number of years.
Together they created her very strong image, that with the music, made her famous and an Icon for those years.
I am sure that Annie Lennox and Lady Gaga for example are some of the singers that was inspired by her.

BLACK SILHOUETTES

Dressing up in black is always an easy option.

But be careful how you do it. Black sends various signals. You can look very sexy, dangerous, casual, intellectual or even boring if you don´t want to bother.

If you choose black consciously, it is always a god idea to mix different silhouettes and stuctures of fabric to gain a more dynamic look. Some of your items could be partly transparent, you could mix shiny and matte, silk with velour and so on.

Accessories could also help to make you stand out. Here are a few examples of some designs, that shows different silhouettes, just for inspiration.

THE CUSTOMER-RELATION

If you like me are working with all aspects of fashion, right from the idea/design and pattern-making to the execution of the final product, it is very important to be aware of what kind of customer you are targeting.

My customers are primarily very style- and quality-conscious women, that knows what they want and don´t compromise on quality and fit.

On the other hand, it is also important that the customer knows who they are dealing with and what they will get when they approach me. That is why I am writing this !

My passion is to realize your dreams and fantasies for the big moments in life. By creating something unique, I am putting my mark on and contributing to making your day one to remember.

The foundation for all my creations is my design-philosophy, that I have developed through time. My ongoing creativity via inspiration, that I have got through all kinds of impressions and experiences.

The mark of my creations are conscious design, a perfect fit and good quality, that I find of equal importance, all together to enhance your style and personality.

In reality, creating is a way of communicating and expressing yourself. I am doing what I am, because I can´t help it. Of course I hope that you are able to appreciate and like it.

When all comes to all, it is really a matter of taste, to be conscious about yourself and your surroundings.

If you can relate, you probably found the right guy. I am looking forward to meet you and help you out.

THE SPARKLING TOP

This top, made out of sequins-fabric is a real show-stopper and party item for any season.

It is not the easiest fabric to work with though. I choose to simplify the cut as much as possible, since the fabric itself is quite effect full.

After a few trials, the result turned out like you see here. Basically the top is made out of three squares in different sizes, with an open back and a deep cowl in the front. Luckily she liked it.
