MUSES OF INSPIRATION

I would like to find a new muse/model for fittings and photo shoots. Is it you or someone you know ?

Muses were the goddesses of Inspiration for literature, science and the Arts in Greek Mythology.

Today as back then, artists and designers often gets inspiration from living "muses", like friends, models, Style Icons, actresses etc. I have a few good friends that have been an inspiration like that. . .

Muses: Trine and Lisbeth
Photos: John Frantsen

It has to be a Muse who can inspire, collaborate and challenge me.

Requirements are difficult to describe. . . it´s not only beauty I am looking for, but radiation, confidence and personality. Your age is probably around 30-45 and your size 38-40.

There is no salery involved, but of course there will be certain benefits, like clothes. If you feel like, don´t hesitate to contact me. We will have to meet, to find out if there is a foundation for an inspiring collaboration.

THE NAME OF THE GAME

The time has come to change the name of my one-man company and this website. I have chosen a more telling name, for what I am doing.

From now on the name is going to be John Frantsen by Appointment, instead of John Frantsen COUTURE. Because, Made-to-measure on commission, it is what I am doing.

That doesn't mean I am compromising on quality. My design philosophy will still be the same, characterized by thoughtful design, a perfect fit and well crafted clothes.

In the course of time and through my creative work, impressions and experiences, I have developed a simple Design philosophy, which is the basis of all my creations.

All of the above has given me a deep understanding and aesthetic sense of what beauty is and can be.

These things brings it together on a higher level, to emphasize the personality of the customer.

If you are aware and open to what is going on, you might develop some aesthetic sense too. But essentially, it all comes down to personal taste.
