RED CARPET STYLE

On August 29, the annual Emmy Award in Hollywood took place. Primetime Emmy Awards as it is called, the "Oscar" of Television, took place for the 62th time, 3 weeks before normal, not to collide with Sunday Night Football.

Read more about The Emmy´s on their official website here and take a look at all the actors and the dresses at MSN´s Wonderwall here.

THE RETRO SHOP

In Horsens, Denmark I found the most fabulous shop with antiques, raw retro furniture and different home acces-sories, that definitely is worth a visit if you are in the area.

It´s all found on markets in France. Very simple and beautiful presented. I will let the pictures speak for them selves.

CATWALKING

We were in Horsens this past weekend. By coincidence they were about to challenge The World's Greatest Catwalk at Copenhagen Fashion Week 2010, that took place recently during the last Fashion Week. That one was as you maybe heard 1,6 km long. But the Event in Copenhagen was met by some criticism, as you can see here.

The Catwalk Horsens ended up beeing 1,8 km all in all. Here every shop of the City contributed with things of everybody's taste. Then I haven´t said to much.

HOMMAGE À CHRISTIAN DIOR

I watched a very nice an interesting documentary from 2005 about Christian Dior last night, the 15/8. A program that goes behind the myth and gave some nice background knowledge.

If you are interested, the link for  DR K is here. Unfortunaly it only shows in a limited amount of time. Take a look at my previous post from the 27. of juli about the Christian Dior Museum in Granville, France.

DANISH FASHION WEEK

If you do not have the opportunity to attend the Fashion week that takes place these days in Copenhagen, you can tune in on Kanal K of DR or Kanal 4 .

I prefer the coverage of the Fashion Week by Kanal K by far, than the coverage by Kanal 4. It's far better and more serious in my eyes. The coverage by Kanal 4 is too shallow and staged.

Where Kanal K's goes a little deeper, let the industry and the fashion people, who have something interesting to say, get the word.
