I haven't been shopping for Art supplies for some time. But, since I was spending a few days in Montreal this week, I had the chance to buy what I was missing.
I went to DeSerres, because I needed varnish for some oil paintings, some cold wax and a few canvases. But it came at a hefty price, I have to say. Very expensive, for what it was, I think. I don't know why.
I wonder if it is the inflation, tariffs or the marking up for profit? But, what I do know, next time, I will definitely do some research and consider alternatives.
