Better late than never, here comes a small post about the winner of the 6th Season of Project Runway, which were broadcasted earlier this year.
It became known, Irina Shabayeva won over Althea Harper and Carol Hannah Whitfield, with a very cohesive collection inspired by "Modern Women warriors of New York City"
In that regard, she was right on point. Because that's just one of the trends that is growing now. The Collection showed very figure hugging silhouettes in mainly black and grey. But there were also voluminous knitwear and t-shirts, as well as accessories that made it all come together.
Throughout the whole season, she was the most ambitious and serious of all the participants. She won three challenges and was never among the last.
Among other things, she said -“So many woman are afraid of the bitch word, but you`ve got to go for what you want. It´s not going to be handed to you.” If you want to know more, check out her website here.
Subsequently, she has among other things made this wonderful wedding dress for Kelly Ripa, from the American tv-show "Live with Regis and Kelly".
